I liked it more than I expected. And I left the cinema in a good mood. All perfect in the movie: good script, good gags and scenarios, "real" Paris, Rome, etc. I would know if something of crazy sequences are filmed in the Vatican; I believe it to be real, but we know that cinema can do "magic."

I see also smoothed things quite anti-French before, because in this sense, Blake Edwards was harder with France and the Sûreté. I think unfairly and free.

If I had to explain to someone the current "crisis", this film would be very useful no waste barely, that is what this is about power: the crises that are invented and continually seeking false prestige by politicians.

Everything is mocked, even the love between Clouseau and his secretary. Although actually ridiculizes the mental and social mechanisms of these people. They don´t know to love, nor think, and just replacing the high level of crime in the movie, by the high level of crime wich is causing the world to fall into poverty and misery; already we have an accurate explanation of the current "crisis".
Jean Reno is the only play inteligent; his simplicity, his common sense and a disciplined professional. (Very good gag on the sofa.)

I've seen the movie dubbed in Spanish, but the exaggerated French accent of all the characters, it is also very hilarious.

As for teasing about Spain (bullfighter, "Silver of nothing," fire) in my opinion fall short, very short.

I have no doubt that the "head" of the "Latin thing" is France. (To the extent that it is.) France is the most rational, cultural and civilizing of Latin nations. Instead "the Latin" must think us that it´s "Hispanic" particularly by the language and catholic religion, including Italian for obvious reasons. (Catholicism and "Popism") Spain made wars with infinite blood, whose state purpose was nothing more than religion: that is, No Protestants who they were all to church, to catholic Mass; no dogmatic deviations. France, without Empire, was isolated and maintained in their own territory invasive wars from Spain although in the end (Covenant of the Pyrenees) France won, remaining as a hegemonic power in Europe. Spain began then a sordid existence of only going to Mass and processions, which does not yet allow us to leave our bishops. Then came the splendor of England wich also cornered France.

Ultimately, "the Latin" should speak French and be an engine of rationality and knowledge. Instead, "the Latino" is immersed in the devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and on a backward and bloody inhuman guerrilla.

And to reach the U.S. ... (Because some Spaniard "theoretical"said that one day, NY will speak Spanish. (And a little Italian ...)

Spain is the great imposter of history and all his Catholicism. In other words: People, Humanity, are suffering a brutal and incalculable deviation to non sense.

Of course, the great guilty of the film (riding a horse) I found him like a "un caballero español".

It rests us only an Europe where everyone must get together sincerely. One united Europe, in itself, and able to contribute something other things than religions and their "sacred cows."
