  • CHAPEAU, MR. PHELPS.

I think that it is the best thing that could happen in the Olympic Games (1): the birth of a new living legend, with this aura that sometimes have the actions of athletes at the Olympic games, something like authentic "human miracles" , based on effort, in the technique and continue to give value to human nature. The religious and political miracles are fraudulent and against the welfare of individuals. The United States of excellence still exist...

Obviously exist "another" US: the new miracle missing only God in this kind of confessional "hard porn" organized by the archangel Gabriel between the two candidates in a large Protestant church.

Obviously, the more "confessional" is Obama. McCain has seemed to me (I've only read the news) rather a good soldier who has not visited too the military priest in his barracks.

Instead, Obama is a truly repentant and manages quite well the "problem" of selfishness, the great sin in all religions. Only thought in me ... says a penitent-candidate, of course, and now he gets others who are having to think about him.

I am not an American but it seems to me obvious that the least bad, the more "honest" (suffering) is McCain. I can not think of more arguments in its favour.

In European perspective, one can not help but wonder: where is left? Do not say churches that world persecuted believers? Clearly, the secular "world" is better than religion.

And here's the error: if candidates go to church, so too will the state after the elections. This is disastrous for democracy. If a candidate is aproaching to the Christian for his vote, is close to a Church, not to a citizen. (Winston Churchill, he, he...)

Religious voters, any religion, are not in favour of state ever. But for its truth. It is absurd to fetch his vote in his impregnable cloud at its believer base.

As I said at the outset, Chapeau, Mr. Phelps...¡

(1) I am also extremely pleased that US has defeated Spain in several sports. It´s the right thing.
