Status of Churches and non-confessional organisations.

1. The Union will respect and does not will prejudice the recognized status in Member States, under national law, to the churches and religious associations or communities.
2. The Union equally will respect the status under national law, to the philosophical and non-confessional organisations.
3. Recognizing their identity and specific contribution, the Union will maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with these churches and organizations.
