A kind of film which I do not like: I do not like excessively "dosed" films. To dispense the nothingness, the void ... A great director (Rob Marshall), a first line players team, with moments in the film of "great cinema", deceptive forays into what might be the best musical of all time.

But everything is empty, a kind of nationalism of the passport office, a school of marriages, a rather God Guido by birth, there is no good music, not even the "big number" nor choreography, but in the film all is perfect, in the manner of great cinema.

Guido has paralyzed all Italy (and mobilized it) at the announcement of his next film (Italia) and yet there is no script, no ideas, nothing. In the end, the film is no longer called Italia, but Nine. And it's over.

Daniel Day-Lewis (Guido) has a blast in this movie, he has had a lot of fun in this job, though I admit some problems to recongnize him of one movie to another.

Something like a team of geniuses, are dedicated to doing nothing, as the script is also great.

At the bottom of everything, comes a voice that seems to be saying: now that we have money, we make films like that.
