Israel is at war in a time when its largest supporter (U.S.) is at time of change and relief. In my opinion, Obama will turn into the "cause" and the Jewish crisis, encouraging both. And a war in Irak, nor religious, but for democracy in a country torn apart by religion.

Obama (whom I wish well as politician) (1) has proved perfectly able to speak "Finzi-continic" of a somewhat disgusting mode.

Spain is full of Jewish power (the whole government is on the "obedience"); this means that out of Spain are even more numerous and influential. Spanish Catholicism controlled them very much in the past. (Nor we have ceased to be Catholic yet.)
